Where is Wund-R Y Kees located?
Wund-R Y Kees is located in beautiful north eastern Wisconsin, just north of Green Bay, in beautiful Green Bay Packer country. I live on 2 tree covered acres at the end of a dead end road, with 1 1/2 acres fenced in for my dogs to run and enjoy. The dogs have squirrels to chase and take this job very seriously going back to their roots as mousers and ratters. I also have 3 resident cats that the dogs love. My dogs all reside in my house, puppies are born and raised in my kitchen. I feel it is important puppies are exposed to day to day life right from the start. They are socialized, are partially housebroken. crate trained and have been groomed. I keep my puppies until they are at least 10 weeks to 12 weeks of age. They are all treated as a show puppy as I do not pick my puppy until 6-8 weeks of age.
I used to put in a vegetable garden each summer however my dogs who LOVE fresh veggies usually enjoyed more of the fresh produce that I did! Their favorites are green beans, green peppers and cucumbers fresh off the plants! Even putting a fence around the garden didn't deter smart Keeshonden from figuring a way around it to enjoy their fresh veggies! So no more garden....
The dogs enjoy their wading pool in the backyard under the big maple tree. They spend lots of hot summer days, wading in the pool to cool off (and of course make a mess out of themselves!)
The Wisconsin winters are heaven for this breed; each and every snowfall is a new adventure for each of the dogs. There are times, no matter how cold it is outside, they do not want to come in thanks to their luxurious thick coats.
Please contact me if you have a Keeshond that you can no longer care for. I will take in your Keeshond and find them a suitable new home. Please always contact the breeder your Keeshond came from FIRST, if they cannot or will not take the dog back, I am equipped to temporarily house the Keeshond and find them a suitable new home.
You can contact me via e-mail or phone. Please leave me a message if you call 920/217-9551. I prefer that you send me an email to request a puppy application.
If you are trying to locate a quality Keeshonden and you are not in the Wisconsin/Illinois/Minnesota/Michigan area, I can help put you in contact with a reputable Keeshond breeder near you.
You can also look at the Keeshond Club of America's website and go to the Breeder page and find breeders listed by state throughout the USA and Canada who are members of the KCA.
